「ＡＩはブラックボックスだから」といってＡＩ利用を避けたり、問題視したりする向きもあるが、画像生成など、一種の遊びとしてそれらを面白がるのは問題ないように思える。
　釉薬をどれほど掛ければ、窯の中で理想的に変化するか、その辺りの偶然性を考慮して、stable diffusionの呪文の強度をコントロールするのも楽しいものだ。
「ＡＩはブラックボックス」という定型文言と同じ程度に、ある人にとっては電気の仕組みや、カメラ、テレビ、ビデオ、インターネットもブラックボックスかもしれない。
　カメラの仕組みに詳しければ必ず良い写真が撮れるとも限らないし、言語学者が必ず名文家であるとも限らない。
「ＡＩが出力するのだから誰がやっても同じ」と考えてstable diffusionを避けるのは、「カメラは誰が撮っても同じ」と決めてしまうのと似ているかもしれない。
　スマホでも一眼レフでも、カメラで撮った写真には各人それぞれの視点や無意識というものが歴然と現れる。
　それはある種、肉体の延長で、その人独自の仕草や癖みたいなものだ、とも言える。その人の歩き方、話し方、そういったものと同じ何かが、彼、彼女の撮る写真や、描く落書き、記す筆跡にもそれぞれ刻印されている。
　ＡＩはブラックボックス、カメラやビデオも（人によっては）謎の箱。陶器が窯で窯変する仕組みも、偶然性を考えねばならないので、意味は違うだろうが、やはりそこには一種のブラックボックスの仕組みがある、と言えなくもない。
　１００パーセント意識された計算で考えられた構図や彩りが、そうでないもの（偶然性や無意識を取り込んだもの）より優れているという考えは、審美的な問題ではあるが、いかにも理性優先に過ぎるところがある。

　AI is a black box, and cameras and videos are (for some people) also mysterious boxes. The mechanism by which pottery changes in a kiln must also be considered coincidental, so the meaning may be different, but it is still possible to say that there is a kind of black box mechanism there.
　The idea that composition and coloring based on 100% conscious calculation are superior to those that are not (those that incorporate chance and the unconscious) is an aesthetic issue, but it is too much of a priority of reason.
