haziでは中国江西省出身で愛知県在住のアーティスト 謝非の個展を開催します。
謝は在学中より中国と日本の関係について、これまでどのような交流があったのか、若しくは今後あり得るのか、映像や既成品を扱いながらその接続点を見いだしてきました。本展ではスパイを通した文化の交換や、ピンポンを巡る二国間の交流と対立、更には公式/非公式な外交手段の可能性について焦点を当て、私たちの前に異なる国、文化、信条を携えた人間がいることを顕在化させます。
会期中は外交（交流）の可能性を模索するためのイベントも開催予定です。謝非の初個展にぜひお越しください。

謝非
1997年中国生まれ、名古屋市在住。2024年名古屋芸術大学美術研究科修了。
場所の記憶や視覚的体験、大衆文化からのインスピレーションを基に、流動的に変化する国家や都市を物語の舞台としたビデオインスタレーションを展示空間に再構築する。また自身の文化的背景を踏まえて、中国における客家（≒移民）の位置付けや、人や物質、そして場所との関係性について言及している。

hazi is pleased to present a solo exhibition by Xie Fei, an artist from China's Jiangxi Province who lives and works in Aichi Prefecture.
Since her school days, Xie has been exploring the relationship between China and Japan, what kind of exchanges exist in the past and in the future, and finding the connection between the two by using video images and ready-made objects in the space. This exhibition will explore the bilateral exchanges and conflicts over espionage and table tennis, and will refer to the possibility of cultural exchange through espionage and less formal means of diplomacy, revealing the presence of people from different countries, cultures, and beliefs in front of us.
During the exhibition, events will be held to explore the possibilities of diplomacy (exchange). We invite you to visit Xie Fei's first solo exhibition.

Xie Fei (b.1997, Jiangxi/China) holds a Master of Visual Arts from the Nagoya University of the Arts.
Based on inspiration from memories of place, visual experiences, and popular culture, he reconstructs video installations in the exhibition space, using fluidly changing nations and cities as the stage for his narratives. Also, in light of his own cultural background, he references the position of Hakka (≒immigrants) in China and their relationship to people, material, and place.

■キッチンプロジェクト「月食」vol.1
月は世界各地で文化の象徴のモチーフとされ、 その満ち欠けは時間の移り変わり、若しくは世界の新陳代謝として扱われてきました。
haziはアーティストが実験や活動するための場の不足を補うため、若手アーティストを中心にコミュニケーションや自己表現の場としても機能しているプロジェクトスペースです。「満月」のように成熟した芸術家とは異なり、 若手アーティストたちは活動機会の少なさという問題に直面しているかもしれません。 このプロジェクトでは、「食」というキーワードに焦点を当て若手アーティストを招聘し、アーティスト自身が関心を寄せるテーマと「食」と組み合わせた作品（料理）を制作し、振る舞います。 
どう作る？ どう食べる？ 何を食べる？ シンプルな問いを通して、アートが起こる瞬間を模索するプロジェクトです。
