Make It Real: About OpenSky project.

This project is inspired by the "Möwe (Mehve)" an imaginary aircraft which appears in Japanese comic/animated film "Nausicaä of the Valley of the Wind" created by Hayao MIYAZAKI. This project aims to build an actual aircraft based on the concept of "Möwe (Mehve)" and to fly it, as an experiment and artworks.

We are trying to create a similar airplane that is capable of flying rather than the reproduction of a model airplane that does not differ in the film. Therefore, we have made specific changes in the design by trial and error.
The "M-02" and "M-02J" were created in cooperation with Aircraft OLYMPOS, the only company in Japan that is able to design this type of airplane.
