I am here to tell you about the next shogi vtubers' collaboration, V-Meijin Cup Season 2!
About
V-Meijin Cup is a shogi tournament where vtubers play against each other for the title of Meijin! (the highest title in shogi).
Everyone will be giving it their all, so make sure to come cheer on your favorite vtubers!
Rules
All players are distributed in to 3 class; A-class, B-class, and C-class depend on their own ratings and the result of previous season.
Players in each class play league matches. The lowest rated players in each class demote to a lower class for the next season. Vice versa, The highest rated players will promote to a higher class. The highest rated player in A-class will challenge the current Meijin title holder. The Meijin and the challenger will play a 3 round match, and the winner gets the title of Meijin.
Date of event
Each league starts in September. The title match will be held in November.
