Goro’s Super Simple Beginner's Guide to Ordinals

Goro’s Super Simple Beginner's Guide to Ordinals: Translated by 0xNowhere

YOYO! Goro here!!

Lately, you’ve probably been hearing a lot about "Ordinals." However, for all the Gororians out there who find it difficult to keep up with all of the new information, I have great news! Over the past month I have been immersed in the world of Bitcoin Ordinals and created a complete Ordinals guide!!

Once you've read this, you'll become an Ordinal master from today onwards!

So, what are Ordinals anyway?

Essentially, they are the Bitcoin version of NFTs! As you may know, Ethereum is currently known as the king of NFTs, and all the NFT projects with the highest trading volume have been launched on the Ethereum blockchain.

However, Bitcoin suddenly appeared on the scene. While Bitcoin's block size is originally 1 block = 1 MB, it was expanded to 4 MB with the Taproot update at the end of 2021 (Nov. 12, 2021). Since there is now extra space, you can create something like NFTs by putting an image on it as a trick (I think it involves sending a signal that would be a bug and then storing the data, but I forgot the details). It was around January of this year that it started to become a hot topic. It's a very recent development!

The reason why Ordinals are so popular right now is probably due to the following three points:

* All of the data is fully on-chain
* Unlike other Ether killers, I believe that Bitcoin itself is overwhelmingly superior to Ether, so it can really crush Ether, right?
* The data size that can be stored is larger than Ether (up to 48kb), and there are many supported file formats.

Furthermore, as a minor difference, all Ordinals (Satoshi) will have a serial number in the order they were minted, called Ordinal numbers. The younger or lower the ordinal number, the greater the value, and the more valuable it is to carve it into a rare Satoshi, etc. Currently, it is not possible to distinguish between collections on a smartphone, self-report which Ordinals are a part of your collection, and which are fake collections. This issue has been raised.
* So, is it difficult to find services that use Ordinals to stake or receive Discord rolls?
* Ordinal inscriptions are so new that the best marketplace or best wallet for them has not yet been decided yet.

By the way, I understand that Ordinals may seem difficult to manage.

But don't worry! There's only one thing I want to convey in this note: Ordinals are easy to buy, sell, and make!

YO, let me explain below!
POW POW!!!

Ordinals Wallet is fucking easy!

Firstly, don't you have a Bitcoin wallet? YO!
Don't you think that the wallet is difficult to use?
I thought so too. For example, the image below is an image of a wallet called Sparrow Wallet. It was has been said that if you carelessly transferred an Ordinal, or moved part of the Satoshi, it could disappear (!), and I couldn't help but be scared every time I touched it (I ended up sending and receiving more than 100 transactions after that, but it disappeared, and there was no Ordinal).

Yes, as long as you know which wallet to use, your ordinals wont be lost...

You can start using it in 2 seconds. Awesome services

OrdinalsWallet has a proper image. We also have a marketplace, so you can put money in and buy an Ordinal. https://ordinalswallet.com/
ORDSWAP was the quickest to respond. Marketplace is also available here. https://ordswap.io/market The one that seems[image]
Xverse is a Bitcoin/ordinals wallet that seems to have the best performance as a Chrome extension wallet like Metamask, and a mobile version is also available. Easy to switch between Ordinals and Bitcoin.https://www.xverse.app/download

How to start Ordinalswallet for reference

https://ordinalswallet.com
Press the button to create a wallet
👇
Create a password / Write down the private key
👇
End

Press CreateWallet in the upper right as usual
Create a password, then enter the 12 private keys → confirm
End. Simple!

Once the wallet creation process is completed, press ÒReceiveÓ to confirm your address and YO! ! Send Bitcoin from a your favorite cryptocurrency exchange or DEX and you can start shopping for Ordinals (*^◯^*)

It's so easy it's unbelievable

It's fucking easy to make an Ordinal

Next, I would like to tell all the creators who think that it is difficult to make an Ordinal .

It's fucking easy.

It was certainly difficult to make the Ordinal in the beginning. This is because the information source for making Ordinal is almost only this guy

https://docs.ordinals.com/guides/inscriptions.html

The first step of the guide is to install the entire Bitcoin transaction history of about 500 GB on your PC and set up a full node. Depending on the communication speed, this alone is enough It's inevitable that the sun will fade. And then the CLI that becomes Bitcoin? Even the highly intelligent Goro himself was completely stuck here, and I didn't understand and uninstalled and reinstalled Bitcoin Core many times.

On the other hand, if there are this many hurdles just to make ordinals, other creators won't be able to enter so easily😏 If I get this right, maybe I'll have the upper hand and win big! It was Goro who was enthusiastically messing around with his computer for hours trying to get the process right. After this, something happened that shattered Goro's hopes...

An Ordinals creator service appeared

POW POW!!
A lot of super helpful no-code ordinal creation services have started to pop-up recently. I was supposed to outsmart the other creators and make the starting dash, but everyone else was racing to create ordinals too \(^o^)/ Owata. You can imagine the despair.

Later I discovered this guy after a week of repeated research.

By the way, how to use

Enter your address

Just pay!

really…

It is believed that more than 90% of the creators currently making Ordinal use this no-code service, and because of its easy to use interface, the novelty of being an OG Ordinal creator seems no longer worth it .

Projects created in the very early days when there were few entrants are trading at high prices of 0.5 to several BTC.
That is the recent Ordinal market situation roughly

Reference: Inscription #1091 means was the 1091st Ordinal made. Currently the number is 200,000, so it's a fairly early ordinal inscription. The floor is about 2 BTC. When it first appeared, there was no marketplace, so I had no choice but to search for suspicious individual trades.

In other words, most of the creators who think Ordinal is difficult just don't know about the ordinal delivery service... It's easy to make, and it costs about 10 dollars, so let's have fun YO??(*^?^*)?

👇Typical service.
https://ordinalsbot.com/
https://ordswap.io/
https://gamma.io/ordinals

Open Ordinalsbot.com and drag and drop images from your PC to the cloud mark , so you can mint 50 at once.

Enter which wallet you want the completed Ordinals to be sent (put the OrdinalsWallet address you saw in the previous chapter), select a normal gas fee, etc. and press Submit & Pay Invoice.

A payment screen will appear, so pay normally. You can send money from an exchange. If you have Wallet of Satoshi in your smartphone, you can instantly kill it with Lightning Pay, so I recommend it for those who make a lot.
!! you can’t send from Ordinalswallet.com beware!!

Just wait! ! I'll be there in about 30 minutes. If you check the order number that appears after purchase with CheckOrder, you can check the status YO!

Use Ordinals.com!

That's all there is! You should be able to easily create and sell Ordinal inscriptions! ! Finally, when you get used to Ordinals process, try using https://ordinals.com/ YO! This is the Bitcoin version of Etherscan and Polygonscan, two of the most popular blockchain explorers. Here you can check various information, such as the Ordinal's Inscription number, the wallet that holds it, and the Satoshi used.

(Probably the situation I use the most is checking to see if the minted Ordinal I mentioned earlier on Ordinalsbot.com is working properly, or checking if the Ordinal I'm buying is the real deal.)

I would appreciate it if you could refer to the above.

I want to give these words only to you who read to the end.

🙏Big Ordinal Ramen🙏
