My first post For foreigners who like Japanese cars!

My self introduction

I am a Japanese living in Tokyo, Japan. I love Japanese sports cars, especially Mazda RX7 FD3S, and I have owned three of them.
Now I enjoy driving this car, doing time attack at the circuit and going to Daikoku PA.

My RX7 FD3S!

Purpose for which I decided to do this post

I made the decision to write this article for three purposes.

  • First, I felt that this culture of sports cars should not be allowed to die out.
In this world of sustainability, where we are trying to eliminate fossil fuels, the Japanese cars that were sold almost 20 years ago are probably an endangered species. Gasoline-guzzling, explosive exhaust sounds are a minority in today's world and not acceptable to all.
But the president of Toyota had this to say. As president of Toyota, I must promote electric cars and hybrids. But the truth is that I like noisy, gasoline-guzzling cars. Electric cars may accelerate faster, but I also like cars that run on gasoline. And among them, the sports cars made by Japanese automakers in the 1990s and early 2000s were the best in the world and still have the potential to compete with modern cars.
I want everyone to know how good these beloved cars are.

  • Next, many foreigners are interested in Japanese cars through the movie Wild Speed and anime, so I want to provide them with information and, if possible, encourage them to drive Japanese sports cars in the country where they live.
When I drive my own car in the streets of Tokyo, it is the foreign tourists who take my picture. Also, recently many foreigners have gathered at the Daikoku parking area on the expressway running through Tokyo to see Japanese cars. This phenomenon has even been broadcast as news on Japanese television. Now, I believe that Japan's proud culture is not only anime and Mt. Fuji, but also includes Japanese sports cars.
We hope that if you like these sports cars, you will own one in your own country. Nowadays, Japanese manufacturers are selling their sports cars all over the world, but the important thing is that the great sports cars of the 1990s were not sold abroad. Naturally, it is quite a hurdle to export cars from Japan to overseas. However, we believe it is not impossible. Nothing would make me happier than to own a one-of-a-kind car and have Japanese sports cars spread all over the world.

  • And the last reason is that I want to leave a trace of my ownership of this sports car. Everyday I feel various emotions and emotions through this car, but if I don't record them, I will forget them. I want to record them so that I can look back on them later.

About the article I plan to write

I am going to start off by introducing my car. I am also planning to write about my time attack at Tsukuba Circuit, where I am aiming for less than one minute.
I will also try to provide useful information to non-Japanese who like Japanese cars. For example, information on where to rent sports cars in Japan, driving courses, Daikoku parking, etc.
