Power to make a turning point (3) What is a turning point (1)

Let's explore what a turning point is.

Generally, a turning point is when a parent dies, an exam fails, or a child is born, and you take a completely different course of action, which in turn opens up your own life prospects.
It is also said that when you catch a turning point, you get a motivation that lasts for a long time, and you start fulfilling your mission while exercising your abilities.

But can an accidental event lead to a drastic change in one's behavior or values?
And even if it has changed, how long will it take for the environment to change dramatically before the prospects of life open up?

If it is triggered by something that happens on a daily basis, the motivation is transient and will not last for a long time. Unfortunately, your vision of what you want to be in the future is never clear, or your dream or what you want to do is never realized.

Some people think that if you find something you like and pursue it, the motivation will continue. Sure, you may be good at what you like and learn certain skills, but it's hard to be a turning point that changes your life completely.

What does it take to hit a turning point?
I'm going to explain the primordial motivation.

Let's take the case of athletes.
It is well known that Tiger Woods, who was active in professional golf, practiced hard every day under his father's guidance from an early age. As a result of his practice, in addition to his natural golf sense, He was able to gain unusually fast swing speeds. Then Tiger Woods made a spectacular showing, winning a Grand Slam.

Messi, who helped Argentina won the World Cup, practiced soccer every day on an empty field as a child, and his efforts earned him a ticket to professional soccer with unparalleled skill as a dribbler. He is known as a national hero of Argentina for his subsequent success in winning the World Cup.

Did Tiger Woods practice fiercely every day because his father told him to, and Messi because his coach told him to? Or did they talent blossom because they happened to be in a position to practice?

Professional athletes do not become elite athletes simply because of their exceptional abilities. Tiger Woods and Messi arrived at the top because they had acquired a long-term motivation to continue their modest daily efforts.

It was nothing less than getting motivated, setting goals and working on practice as a mission. They had sublimated themselves to the heroic level of continuing to increase the intensity of their practice until they reached their goal.

On the other hand, even if you work hard every day without catching a turning point, the person's motivation is neither mission-driven nor arousal, so little things can trigger a reversal of behavior patterns. Do you have any tools or equipment you no longer use at home, or books you have piled up to study? Have you ever been a quitter?

A turning point is a state of being on a mission and motivated to continue doing what you think is right for a long time.

It is said that the skills you want to learn can be acquired in 10,000 hours of repeated practice. Indeed, it shows that by continuing to do the right thing over a long period of time, you acquire the skills you aim for. If you make a turning point and identify your self-identified motivation, you can accomplish 10,000 hours of low-key daily activities. If you spend 3 hours every day for 10 years, it's 10,000 hours. What would you call 10,000 hours of sustained motivation without calling it a turning point?

A turning point is not something that comes if you wait, but something that you create based on active motivations such as grabbing and making.

It's a common misconception that turning points don't come simply by changing your behavior.
Say you change your behavior and wake up early. Will there be a turning point for me as an early riser?
Does being an early riser trigger you to wake up to your mission?
Does being an early riser help you push your own talents to the limit?
Just getting up early won't bring about a turning point.

Find your own true motivation, find three hours of work to do every day, and stick with it. That's what a turning point is. True motivation starts with the feelings at the back of your mind and sublimates to a mission.
The way to create the turning point that I present to you this time starts with motivating yourself by shaking your emotions. This means, as far as I know, has never been touched upon in a book or in a consultant's study session. I don't know if this measure will work for anyone or companies other than me.
However, the fact that I actually made a turning point changed my behavior significantly, and the joy of gaining new values was something I couldn't experience anywhere else.
By this means, without lamenting the past or wishing for the future, I hope that I can look into the present and grasp the turning point that will allow me to steadily move forward step by step.

Now, let's dig deeper into the motives.
