Day Trip Itinerary for Okunoshima

Okunoshima is known above all as a "rabbit paradise" with hundreds of rabbits roaming freely around the island. Visitors are very popular because they can feed and interact with these cute animals.

The historical significance of the island should not be overlooked. Okuno Island was used as a base for the production of poison gas during World War II. To learn about this past, a poison gas museum has been established, giving visitors an opportunity to think about peace.
