Who is the Master of Fate?

In the past, I thought our fate is in our hands, we can change our fate by grasping knowledge, and pursue the life we want through our hard work. However, no matter how hard we work, we always can’t have our wish fulfilled. At the time, I felt pained and began to reflect: Why can’t my hard work gain a return? Is who governing our fate? I don’t find the answer all along until I come before the Creator, I come to know the value and the significance of life and thus say farewell to the empty and painful life and find true happiness.
