Life is hard to slow down

There is a major speed of life gap between America and Japan which may explain why, if you google American stereotype, negative adjectives like loud, obnoxious, and nosy are more prevalent than positive ones. Look up Japanese and you get kind and polite. I believe both to be true, but hear me out. 

Maybe in the US, Life in the fast lane is the way to go. Get an education, move out from your parents house, get a job, get married, have children, and get divorced all before the age of 30, um, maybe 27, 26. Be fully ready to hunt for another relationship before the ink is dried on the divorced papers. I always say, if you want to a millionaire, be a divorce lawyer in America. With that said, being in a hurry is life's norm. Fast to be fat and happy. Fat meaning rich. Faster to be unsatisfied, unhappy, unappreciated, and be less rich. Maybe by Japanese standards, these goals in life are imagined to be obtained in a slightly longer time frame. With that being said, the opportunities for an American to be loud and obnoxious are more frequently observed. Never the less, our hearts are equally and more than able to care and give.  My Japanese senpai said slow is fast. My American senpai said that fast is our slow. That's why we always say, "I really have to slow down." So hurry up!
