~A Photo of A Small Child~"75 Years Atomic Bomb" Dr.Soko DAY5/50

This photo was taken in a first-aid station in Hijiyama, Hiroshima.("被爆者とともに ー続広島原爆医療史ー 財団法人広島原爆障害対策協議会”1969年)

We do not know if this small child is a boy or a girl.

Arms are tried to stretch up.

The face directed to the ceiling.

Deeply burnt legs are seem, so that bones are be seen with muscle.

This child is trying to stretch arms upright, which means he/she has consciousness.

He/She received the heat directly and got burn terribly, he/she was blown away by the blasts, and he/she has been hurt by the radiation even when this photo was taking.

Where is his/her mother? Is there a family around him/her?

This child must be looking for a mother, even if he/she cannot say a word.

"Mom! Mom!" He/She must be shouting in mind, so desperately. He/She is trying hard to look for family, lying on the floor.

He/She is crying. But people around him/her cannot hear voice.

This child is keeping arms upward, and kneeling.

It must be not easy to maintain this posture for his condition.

What can he/she see? What was he/she thinking, trying desperately to keep its posture? Can he emit a voice?

But he must have no energy to stand up, no energy to shout "Mom!".

It was 8:15am, on August 6th, 1945. Nuke made people like this, with the heat, the blast and the radiation. Many children became like this small child.

I cannot ignore this child's voice as a doctor and a human.

What did children like him/her want to tell us who live now?

There are numerous nuclear weapons on this planet. Furthermore, Nuke is developing more everyday.

So, I, would like to complete my 50 day's marathon to talk about Atomic Bomb 75years ago.
