macOS Big Sur 11.4で、大量のセキュリティ上の欠陥を修正。

アンドリュー・オル(Andrew Orr)はMacObserverで2021年05月28日に、アップルは、OSの新バージョンをリリースし、macOS Big Sur 11.4のセキュリティ・コンテンツを公開した。

「AppleScript」「Dock」「Kernel」で、大量のセキュリティ上の欠陥を修正したということは、いよいよmacOS Big Surの完成間近かも知れない。

AppleScript

Impact: A malicious application may bypass Gatekeeper checks
Description: A logic issue was addressed with improved state management.

Impact: A malicious application may be able to gain root privileges
Description: A validation issue existed in the handling of symlinks. This issue was addressed with improved validation of symlinks.

Impact: A malicious application may be able to access a user’s call history
Description: An access issue was addressed with improved access restrictions.

Description: A logic issue was addressed with improved validation.
