Knowledge Bases in the Human Resources Industry

In this work, we have tried to make an overview of a concept that is increasingly present as a way to organize information, data and even metadata. This concept is nothing but the so-called knowledge graph, or as also called by some databases in network or even Graph Knowledge Base or simply knowledge bases.

This way of modelling knowledge, we can usually find it as one of the components of new information systems, new environments for automatic discovery of relevant information, recommendation systems, machine learning and even artificial intelligence. The technologies and systems involved in all these new generation systems are many and very complex, but the research community agrees that it is a very natural way of modelling solutions that have to use knowledge modelled by experts to solve problems of great technical complexity. We, for example, are very interested in building systems to support the digitization of processes in the human resources industry.
