Genesis Chp1 – Week in Review part 2

Sudoku is the number puzzle that has you looking for what is missing. That is what we are doing in reviewing the week of creation part two. As was mentioned the sons of God were one part of creation that was not immediately mentioned. The next part Is location, location location, the first location that is a created place, but not mentioned is the eternal fire or Lake of fire. Do not confuse this with hell, it is not the same place. In Gospel of Matthew 25:41 Jesus says , “The King will turn to those on his left and say,' Away with you, you cursed ones, into the eternal fire prepared for the devil and his angels (adversarial sons of God). Look very closely, it was prepared for them not us, it is only by our own choice that created beings other than the devil and his angels are sent there, it was not made or intended for us. I am sure this was not a pleasant, part of creation to make. There is a part of creation referred to as the bottomless pit, from the book of Revelations 20: 1-3 Then I saw an angel coming down from heaven with the He seized the dragon—that old serpent, who is the devil, Satan and bound him in chains for a thousand years. The angel threw him into the bottomless pit, which he then shut and locked so Satan could not deceive the nations anymore until the thousand years were finished. Afterward he must be released for a little while. The next two places seem to go hand and hand and I don 't pretend to fully understand it, there is scripture reference to them Revelations 1: 17-18, Jesus is talking to the apostle John who wrote Revelations, When I saw him, I fell at his feet as if I were dead. But he laid his right hand on me and said, “Don't be afraid! I am the First and the Last. I am the living one. I died but look I am alive forever and ever! And I hold the keys of death and the grave. Then they are also mentioned in Revelation 20: 11-15 11 And I saw a great white throne and the one sitting on it. The earth and sky fled from his presence, but they found no place to hide. I saw the dead, both great and small, standing before God's throne. And the books were opened, including the Book of Life. And the dead were judged according to what they had done, as recorded in the books. The sea gave up its dead, and death and the grave gave up their dead. And all were judged according to their deeds. 14 Then death and the grave were thrown into the lake of fire. This lake of fire is the second death and anyone whose name was not found recorded in the Book of Life was thrown into the lake of fire. Notice The even though the sea, death and the grave gave up their dead only death and the grave are thrown into the Lake of fire, never to be needed again. These are all unpleasant places to think about and are all the results of free will and the choice of sin. To finish this on a somewhat more upbeat note, the last thing to mention is a place, but not easily identifiable, this place is glimpsed at on the Mountain in the Book of Exodus 24: Then Moses, Aaron, Nadab, Abihu, and the seventy elders of Israel climbed up the mountain. There They saw the God of Israel. Under his feet there seemed to be a surface of brilliant blue lapis lazuli, as clear as the sky itself. And though these nobles of Israel gazed upon God, he did not destroy them. In fact, they ate a covenant meal, eating and drinking in his presence! There are many more glimpses of heaven and the throne room, but that is for another time. This is why Jesus came so we could choose life everlasting with him, part of his family. We were not created to go into the Lake of fire, but we have free will and a free choice. We can choose to be with our Heavenly Father or choose to live outside of his presence, in the only place he is not, the lake of fire. Choose wisely.
