親愛なる息子へ

実はね、こんなことを君の日記で書くのも恥ずかしいだけど、
一昨日、Papaは車で事故をしたんだ。

幸いなことに怪我はなく、相手の車には人は乗っていなかったんだけど、病院の駐車場で車をぶつけてしまったんだ。

そして、今日は相手の方とも話をして、又、警察署にも出向き事故の証明をして、一旦処理は終わったよ。

君が、いずれみるだろう日記にこんなことを書くのはとっても、恥ずかしいところなんだけど、これもPapaも一部と思って共有することにするよ。

今回のことは、Papaの不注意だし、焦っている気持ちや、先を急ぐ気持ちからきたものだと思う。

さて、暴露話をしたところで、君の話に戻ろう。

今日は、Mamaがとっても綺麗に部屋を片付けてくれた。
もともと、君の部屋を一番に、PapaもMamaも考えていたけれど、最終段階になってきたよ。明日は、Papaの姪っ子がお手伝いにきてくれるんだ！

君の部屋のおむつ代、そして、衣類、ガーゼ、タオル（大・小）、おもちゃ
などは全て揃えたし、哺乳瓶や消毒器、小物類なども用意してるよ。

またPapaとMamaの寝室に君のBedも置いたんだ。

昨日は 2580glam だったので、君の成長には本当に驚かされる毎日。

あと3日。準備万端で退院に備え、君を迎えにいくよ！

Dear Son,

I feel a bit embarrassed writing this in your diary, but two days ago, Papa had a car accident.

Fortunately, no one was hurt, and there was no one in the other car. I accidentally hit a car in the hospital parking lot.

Today, I talked with the other person involved and went to the police station to report the accident. The matter has been settled for now.

I’m embarrassed to write this in a diary you’ll read one day, but I decided to share it because it’s part of Papa’s life too.

This accident was due to my carelessness, rushing, and feeling stressed.

Now, let’s get back to talking about you.

Today, Mama did a wonderful job cleaning up the house. Both Mama and I have always prioritized your room, and it’s finally coming together. Tomorrow, my niece will come to help!

We’ve prepared everything for your room: diapers, clothes, gauze, towels (large and small), toys, as well as bottles, a sterilizer, and other essentials.

We also set up your bed in our bedroom.

Yesterday, you weighed 2680 grams, and your growth amazes us every day.

In just three days, we’ll be fully prepared to welcome you home!
