The following morning when Jack woke up, the room looked funny.

The sun was shining through one window, but the other window was full of green leaves.

Jack ran to the window.

What a surprise!

There, outside in the yard was a great, big beanstalk.

It reached all the way up into the sky.

Jack now knew that they were really magic beans.

次の朝、ジャックが目覚めた時、部屋はおかしく見えた。

太陽は一つの窓を通して輝いていた、しかしもう一つの窓は緑の葉でいっぱいだった。

ジャックは窓のところに走った。

何という驚き！（＝何と驚いたことでしょう！）

外の中庭に巨大な大きな豆のつるがあった。

それはずっと上がって空にとどいていた。

ジャックは今、それらが本当に魔法の豆だったということを知った。
