Let's review the important expressions quickly.

Disheartening(落胆させる、がっかりさせる)
Definition: Causing someone to lose determination or confidence; discouraging.
Example: It was disheartening to see our team lose after trying so hard.
例文: 頑張ったのにチームが負けたのは落胆させることだった。
Modest((金額などが)おおきくない[ささやかな])
Definition: Not very large in size, amount, or degree; humble.

Definition: To cause someone to do something.
Example: The urgent situation prompted her to make a quick decision.

Definition: To have something available and ready to use.
Example: It's always good to have some extra cash on hand for emergencies.
例文: 緊急時のために、いつも余分な現金を手元に持っているのは良いことです。

Definition: To be very popular or successful at a particular time.

Be confined to(…に限られる)
Definition: To be limited to a particular area, group, or subject.

Definition: To be increasing or improving.
Example: The company's stock has been on an uptrend for the past six months.
