2021 Yamaha YZF-R6 Launched, Specifications and Details Revealed

Yamaha has launched an all-new 2021 YZF-R6 and sadly the new model doesn't get any major changes. It is offered in the same two colour options as the older 2020 model. The new Yamaha R6 also doesn't get any major mechanical changes. 

New Yamaha R6 Specifications 

The new Yamaha R6 comes with a 599cc inline-4 cylinder engine. It makes 118.4 PS of maximum power and 61.7 Nm of torque. It comes with a 6-speed gearbox and it gets electronic throttle valves that allow quicker acceleration. It also gets riding modes that allow the rider to switch between different power modes. 

It is one of the fastest bikes in the 600cc category. As per a review by mototech, the Yamaha R6 has a top speed of 260 km/h. It is also capable of going beyond 270 km / h and that makes it one of the fastest 600cc sports bike. The YZF-R6 can also accelerate from 0-100 under 3 seconds which is really amazing. 

This sports bike comes with KYB USD forks at the front end. It gets a KYB mono-shock suspension at the rear that is fully adjustable. There have been no changes to the new R6 frame or suspension, it is the same as the older version. 

The new age, Yamaha R6 comes with LED headlights that are really bright and they also look good. It gets a fully digital console that provides plenty of information.

It is available in two colour options, one is a dark knight and the other one is racing blue. The Dark Knight colour option looks the best, it more appealing and looks aggressive. The racing blue colour also looks good. 

Yamaha R6 Price

The price of the latest model is nearly 16 Lakhs. It is slightly overpriced compared to its competitors. The Ninja ZX-6R is way cheaper than the R6, and it is also more powerful and offers some more features.
