Cordless Impact Driver with Battery and Charger: How Does It Work?
Rotational Force:
When you engage the impact driver, the motor generates rotational force, similar to a traditional drill. This rotational force is transmitted to the chuck, which holds the screw or bit.
Hammer and Anvil Mechanism:
Unlike a standard drill, an impact driver features a hammer and anvil mechanism inside the tool's housing. The hammer is connected to the motor and rotates along with the chuck, while the anvil is stationary.
Impact Action:
As the motor turns the hammer, this type of 12v cordless impact driver builds up rotational energy. When a high level of torque is needed (e.g., when the screw encounters resistance), the hammer is suddenly released.
Concussive Blows:
The released hammer strikes the anvil, creating a powerful concussive blow. This impact action occurs in quick succession, providing a series of rapid blows to the screw or fastener.
Increased Torque:
The combination of rotational force and rapid impacts results in a higher torque output compared to traditional drills. This increased torque allows the impact driver to drive screws more efficiently, even in challenging materials or situations.
Reduced Strain on the User:
The impact action helps prevent cam out (slipping) of the screw, reducing the strain on the user and minimizing the risk of stripping the screw head.
Quick Bit Changes:
Impact drivers typically have a 1/4-inch hex chuck, allowing for quick and easy bit changes without the need for additional tools.

As one of cordless tool manufacturers, we will do our best to meet all the needs of customers.
