I watched ‘tick, tick... BOOM!' on Netflix.

I've been writing my diary in English to improve my skill.

Last weekend, I watched a movie musical called ‘tick, tick... BOOM!’ on Netflix.
It based on an off-Broadway musical.
My husband recommended it because of an earlier work which the director made and which was a fascinating movie.

It’s the story of a great playwright Jonathan Larson who created ‘RENT’ and ended up passing away when he was too young.
It showed John’s impatience for not accomplishing anything during his 20’s and the pain related to creating a work of drama with amazing songs.

Why can't you stay 29
Hell, you still feel like you're 22
Turn thirty, 1990
Bang! You're dead
What can you do?
What can you do?
What can you do?

After watching it, I had a feeling that was hard to put into words because the world lost such an amazing talent at such a young age.

My most favorite song was 'Why' which John sang when he was faced with the sad truth.
And after this scene, the sound of the clock 'tick...tick...' had meant time counts to the death of his precious person.
When I noticed it, I couldn't help but cry.

It seems that many people praise this movie.
I'm glad to find a good story and nice music, too.
