とりあえず覚書。

The brigade is composed of battalions.
The battalion is composed of companies.
The company is composed of plattons.
The platoon is composed of squads.

*Breaking all the way down the squads are composed of different teams.

platoon... 40 people or so.
company... basically 4 platoons added together.
Four soldiers make up a team：a noncomissioned officer and three junior enlisted soldiers.
