さて、今回は、誰もがご存じのMercedesについて、ご紹介していきましょう！

　　　　What is "Mercedes" ?

前回の第3回でお伝えした通り、
世界で初めてガソリンエンジンの自動車を世に生み出した会社
とお伝えしました！
As we announced on the previous article "Episode 3",  "Mercedes" is the first manufacturer of autos with petrol engines in the world.

しかし、彼らの世界初は、そこで終わらず現在まで生み出し続けています。
特に、”車をより安全により快適にする”ための技術開発の努力が、他社を圧倒しているところが特徴のブランドです。
They did not made it only once but do have been improving and producing "the first" technologies or products since they were born.
Especially, their philosophy regarding the safety and the comfort for autos
and their efforts to innovate them are so remarkable as compared to others.
That makes them famous also known as "Mercedes" brand.

四輪駆動やABSの実用化、エアバッグ、プレセーフ、レーダーセンシング、自動運転などが有名ですね。
We can mention their results such as all-wheel drive, the launch of ABS, Airbags, Pre-Safe, those radar-sensing technologies, autonomous drive and so on, for example.
