“DÉTECTIVE” Extension for Premiere Pro that enable and disable clips.
Supported versions are Premiere Pro 2022 (v22.0) or later.
Available at Adobe Exchange.
Premiere Pro's clip "Enable" function is a toggle. DÉTECTIVE separates 'Enable' and 'Disable' into separate functions and puts the selected clip in either state. You can also enable or disable clips between in/out, and select only enabled or disabled clips.

Select the range of clips to enable or disable from "Selected clips" or "In/Out".
Selected clips
Enables/Disables clips selected in the sequence.
In/Out (Video, Audio, Both)
Enables/Disables clips from the in point to the out point in a sequence. Both in and out points are required. Choose from Video Track Only, Audio Track Only, or Both. Ignores locked or muted tracks.
Enable button
Enables specified clips.
If Shift+click, only enabled clips is selected.
Disable button
Disables specified clips.
If Shift+click, only disabled clips is selected.
Store button
Stores the enable/disable status of all clips in the current sequence. The name of the stored sequence is displayed below. Only one sequence can be stored. It will be cleared when you close the panel.
Recover button
Returns specified clips to the stored state.
If shift+click, clips to return to the stored state is selected.
Note:
Operations performed in DÉTECTIVE cannot be "undo" (⌘+Z).

If you have a large number of clips to change to enabled or disabled, the process will take longer. It may be smoother to Shift+click to make a selection and then use PremierePro's menu to enable or disable it.
