The transfer market has seen an inflation of transactions in recent years. The arrivals at PSG of Neymar (222 ME) and Kylian Mbappé (180 ME) in the summer of 2017 are just two examples among many. The crisis resulting from the coronavirus pandemic should, however, make this trend less frequent.

This does not mean, however, that nine-digit transactions will no longer take place. A view shared by Fabrizio Romano, a journalist renowned for his excellence in mercato news. The Italian even thinks that three players could beat the biggest transfer in history, that of Neymar to Paris.

Three young talents who are already among the best strikers in the world

“I think a player like Haaland, who is almost 20 years old and has already moved 25 million with his sale and has a 75 clause, can beat the record. He is like a robot. A machine. I am convinced that he is the striker of the future. Apart from him and Lautaro Martinez from Inter Milan, you have no other young top striker.
