絶えず細胞が入れ替わる我々のあり方と、ブルース・リーの言葉を振り返って見ました。

解剖学者養老先生と分子生物学者福岡先生の対談の中で、入れ替わる細胞と人間のアイデンティティのあり方の意味に関する考察について、いろいろヒントがある、深い対談だ、と思いました。関係するか、どうか、はっきりとは言えませんが、ブルース・リーは「水になれ」と言いました。人間の外形を保っている身体の中身は絶えず入れ替わる流動性のあるエーテルの様なものかも知れません。　

I thought it was a profound dialogue between anatomist Dr Yourou and molecular biologist Dr Fukuoka, with many hints and insights into the meaning of the cells that are all the time in the process of replacement and the nature of human identity. I can't say for sure whether it is relevant or not, but Bruce Lee said, ‘Be water’. The contents of the physical body, which maintains the human form, may be a fluid etheric-like substance that is constantly being replaced.

Ich fand, dass es ein tiefgründiger Dialog zwischen dem Anatomen Dr. Yourou und dem Molekularbiologen Dr. Fukuoka war, mit vielen Hinweisen und Einsichten über die Bedeutung der Zellen, die ständig ersetzt werden, und die Natur der menschlichen Identität. Ich kann nicht mit Sicherheit sagen, ob es zutreffend ist oder nicht, aber Bruce Lee sagte: „Sei Wasser“. Der Inhalt des physischen Körpers, der die menschliche Form aufrechterhält, könnte eine flüssige, ätherähnliche Substanz sein, die ständig ersetzt wird.

J'ai trouvé que c'était un dialogue profond entre le Dr Yourou, anatomiste, et le Dr Fukuoka, biologiste moléculaire, avec beaucoup d'indications et d'intuitions sur l'importance des cellules, qui sont constamment remplacées, et sur la nature de l'identité humaine. Je ne peux pas dire avec certitude si c'est exact ou non, mais Bruce Lee a dit : « Sois de l'eau ». Le contenu du corps physique qui maintient la forme humaine pourrait être une substance liquide, semblable à de l'éther, qui est constamment remplacée.
