To take a breather

To take a breather I'm going to write.
It was my day off today, so I did laundry from early morning, then I ate a boiled egg and a slice of bread and some fruits with yogurt for breakfast.
Then I was soppose to go back to my parents' house,  but I decided to stay home and study for the test.
Before noon I cooked three dishes for dinner, and ate white rice and kimch-natto for lunch.
I've learnt some new words, and I'll put some of them that I interested in.
'Piecemeal' means piece of something appears one by one I guess, for example, 'I didn't know that films were made piecemeal in this fashion.'  Wow it is an interesting expression, I thought.

Ok now back to study.
