【和訳】LosT - Bring Me The Horizon

前作"sTraNgeRs"のリリースから約10ヶ月となる新曲はエレクトロやパンク、エモなどを大胆に取り入れたアッパーチューン。エモの帝王と呼び声高いMy Chemical Romanceのサウンドに強く影響を受けているんだとか。詳しくはジョーダンがkerrang!のインタビューで語っていますので、こちらの記事をご覧ください。

歌詞はBMTHの楽曲で度々扱われる薬物中毒とリハビリがテーマで、本作は特にオリバーが2013年リリースの4thアルバム”Sempitarnal”の制作前にケタミン中毒に陥り、リハビリに通っていた経験が元になっているようです。

＊MVについて

BMTH史上最もグロテスクで刺激的なMVと言っても過言ではない本作ですが、撮影現場はかなり過酷だったようです。

"It was three days shooting, which for a music video is long," he said.
"They were meant to be 12 hours days but literally one day was like 18 hours. It was 3am — we'd got up at 5 — and I'm in an actual morgue. In between take I'm just asleep. I'm asleep on the floor.

「撮影は3日間で、ミュージックビデオとしては長かった」とオリバーは言う。
「撮影は1日12時間のはずなのに、1日だけ18時間になった。夜中の3時に実際の死体安置所にいたんだ。その後5時には起きなきゃいけなかったんだけどね。撮影の合間はひたすら寝てた。床で寝たよ。」
