Lightning, Sunlight, Twilight

友達から山行の写真が届きました。日本はゴールデンウィークですね。私がもっとも祖国を懐かしく思う時、それは日本の蒼い山々を思い出すとき。

さてロンドンはというと、今年の春はちょっと荒れ気味でした。先週までダウンを手放せない寒さで、夜中に強烈な風が吹き、雷が轟き、うちの近くの大きな街路樹がボキって折れました（表題写真）。

それでも、日々伸びゆく日照時間や増えゆく新緑から、春が着々と進行していることを感じます。

そして、この季節のロンドンは、雨の間隙をついた夕映がマジカル。

　

私は…自分に合わないものを手放す決意をしたら、やっとまた文章がかけるようになりました。ここで生きてるだけで感謝です。

My friend in Tokyo sent me a photo of her hike in Okutama on her "Golden Week". The memory of beautiful Japanese mountains makes me miss my home country the most.

Meanwhile, in London, this spring has long been cold and damp. Last week, there was a terrible storm at midnight. I was awakened by the tiger-roaring wind and thunder. The poor tree near our flat snapped due to the rough weather.

However, we can feel that spring is surely here, for the day is getting longer and longer, and our backyard greens grow day by day. In addition, we often see magical spring sunsets in London.

Releasing the clutter from my mind, I finally found my voice once more. I'm happy to be able to live here with my feet down.
