【詩】一匹の怪物

埃まみれの暗い屋根裏部屋に
恐ろしい一匹の怪物が棲むという。

怪物の姿は見えたり見えなかったりする。

たとえ怪物を目撃できたとしても
その姿は美しかったり醜かったりする。

もしそれが美しく見えるとすれば
あなたこそ怪物なのである。

　どこにもない湖
　その水面に拡がる波紋

　それにより歪んで映る時計台
　それを眺めている捨てられた蝋人形

いかにも無邪気そうに見えるその瞳の奥にも
恐ろしい一匹の怪物が棲むという。

A Monster

A dreadful monster lives in a dusty dark attic.

You may or may not see the monster.

Even if you can witness the monster,
Its appearance is beautiful and ugly.

If it looks beautiful, you are the monster.

A lake that is nowhere,
The ripples spreading on the surface of the water,

The clock tower that appears distorted by it,
Abandoned wax figure looking at it,

It seems that
A scary monster lives in the back of his eyes,
Which look so innocent.
