Situation in Ukraine
It has been 801 days since Russia invaded Kyiv.

First of all,
general matters.

According to the General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces,
the Russian losses were 1,230 soldiers
12 tanks
27 armored fighting vehicles
46 guns
2 multiple rocket launchers
2 air defense systems
31 drones
1 cruise missile
79 other vehicles.

The entire front reported 134 ground attacks in one day.

Russian forces are stepping up their offensive in preparation for President Vladimir Putin's inauguration on May 7 and Russia's Victory Day on May 9.

And the ratio of the number of equipment losses of the Ukrainian army to the Russian army,
which can be visually confirmed,
is 1 to 3.0,
compared to the number of losses on the Ukrainian side.

Losses on the Russian side are particularly high for tanks,
which may be trying to break through on the front lines.
Conversely,
on the Ukrainian side,
artillery is conspicuous.

Here is a brief news report on the situation in Ukraine.

You can also use YouTube's chapter feature to watch where necessary.

1st.
German defense firm Hensoldt announced that it will deliver six additional TRML4D radars to Ukraine.

According to the report,
Ukraine already has nine units and three IRIS-T air defense missile systems that use the same radar,
making it essential equipment for the Ukrainian Air Force.

The radar is a state-of-the-art digital radar with active phased array antennas using gallium nitride,
has a maximum detection range of 250 km,
automatically classifies targets,
and can exchange information in real time through its networking capabilities.

The total cost is expected to be 100 million euros (16 billion yen),
to be paid by the German government,
and delivery is scheduled for the end of this year.

Second.
Bloomberg reports that the US is negotiating with G7 countries to allocate $50 billion (7.5 trillion yen) from frozen Russian assets to Ukraine.

Under the current proposal,
the U.S.-led plan is to transfer $280 billion frozen in G7 and EU countries to a newly established fund,
which would first issue $5 trillion in bonds to be used to support Ukraine.

Repayment will be funded by interest on frozen assets,
which will greatly reduce the burden of Western countries' support for Ukraine.

Third.
Russia is finding it increasingly difficult to do business with China and Turkey.

According to China Customs,
Chinese exports to Russia fell 15.7% in March from a year earlier,
while Turkish exports to Russia fell 33.7% in the first quarter.

When Reuters interviewed a Chinese electronics manufacturer,
the president,
named Wang,
said,
"The processing of payments to Russia has lengthened from a few days to several months.
If we do business with Russia,
we may be subject to U.S. sanctions," he said.

The chairman of an industry association in southeastern China said,
"Business with Russia is now completely impossible through official channels. The president of the Turkish Machinery Exporters Association,
Mr. Oglu,
stated,
"Since the sanctions are vague and the targets are expanding rapidly,
it has become impossible to maintain our Russian business. The sanctions are rapidly expanding and it has become impossible to maintain business with Russia.

Russia,
on the other hand,
has not found a solution to this problem,
and according to the Central Bank of Russia,
imports fell 18% in March from a year earlier.

Now,
let's take a look at the war situation in each region.
I will focus on the areas where the war situation is changing.
The changes can be followed along with the date on the large full-screen display.

Northeast: Luhansk region
Eastern Bakhmut

This section of the report focuses on the Svatove-Kreminna line,
from the area around Siversk to Bakhmut.

In this area,
the Russians attacked 12 times around Berestove,
15 times along the Svatove-Kreminna line,
and 22 times around Sibersk and in the direction of Bakhmut.

Kupyansk Area

In Kislivka,
which we have been telling you about every day,
Russian troops attacked and advanced on the neighboring settlement of Kotlyarivka,
according to the video with location information.

The image we are showing you is from the Russian 1st Tank Army,
where tanks are firing at the building.

This location is of little strategic importance except that it is on the highway leading to Kupyansk,
but the purpose is likely to be to disperse the Ukrainian army's forces.

We have updated the battle map of this area from Ukrainian-controlled to Russian-occupied.

ChasivYar Area

In this sector,
Ukrainian resistance was strong in Bohodanivka and Ivanivske,
and Ivanivske launched an attack from the front of the town,
as the Russians were unable to make a flank attack due to their lack of occupation.

The Kremlin was reportedly originally ordered to occupy the town by May 9,
Victory Day,
but sources say this was changed to coincide with President Putin's visit to China on or about May 15,
with results to be announced.

1st.
In Canal,
Russian forces launched a ground offensive by launching hot-air bombs into the residential areas mapped to the northeast,
but these attacks were repulsed by Ukrainian forces and Russian forces have not been able to advance.

Second.
South of the Canal,
where the canal runs underground,
the Russians also launched an infantry assault,
but this too was repulsed by Ukrainian forces,
and the Russians were unable to establish a base west of the canal.

Third.
North of Klishchiivka,
the positional video shows a Russian attack on the outskirts of the city,
which was also repulsed.

There is no change in the battle map here either. 。。。。

Southeast Donetsk Oblast

Weather in Avdiivka is sunny.
The minimum temperature is 4 degrees Celsius and the maximum is 22 degrees Celsius.
The weather forecast for today is also cloudy.

The following is an update on the situation in the areas of Avdiivka,
Marinka,
and Vuhledar.

Avdiivka

In this area,
the Russians have made 50 attacks. Russian military bloggers have pointed out that the Russian military needs to advance as far as possible and establish a foothold before the arrival of U.S. military aid,
but according to the New York Times,
the second batch of artillery shells and missiles arrived in Ukraine this week,
but the main military equipment,
including infantry fighting vehicles,
will not arrive until late summer. It reported that they will not arrive until the end of the summer.

1st.
In Arkhangelske,
the battle map remains unchanged,
but Russian forces are attacking heavily,
launching 20 to 30 airstrikes a day.

To briefly describe the terrain of Arkhangelske,
the settlement is located at an elevation of 170 meters above sea level,
and the Ukrainian army has established positions in the west,
north,
and east at an elevation of 200 meters above sea level,
overlooking the town and defending it.

When the Russians enter the Arkhangelske,
the Ukrainian army can open up a concentrated fire from three directions.

Therefore,
the Russians are attacking the western defensive positions from two directions first,
but so far there has been no change in the battle map.

2nd.
In other directions,
such as the northwestern direction of Ocheretine and the axis of attack from Soloviove to Sokir,
the Russian attack is being repulsed by the Ukrainian forces and there is no change in the battle map.

Third.
South of Pervomaiske,
which we reported on about two weeks ago,
positional video footage shows a Ukrainian drone attack in the mapped planted forest,
indicating that this location is under Russian military control.

The battle map has been updated to show this location as partially occupied by Russian forces from the disputed territory.

The area is about 1.5 square kilometers in size.

To the south of this area is Nevelske across the river,
and it is believed that the Russians are trying to pincer the area from the north and south.

Marinka area
Vuhledar area

The Russians attacked 16 times in this area.

1st.
On the east side of Krasnohorivka,
the positional video shows that the Russians are shelling the area indicated on the map,
which is the front line of the Ukrainian army.

Therefore,
we have updated the battle map to show that the Russians have occupied this eastern defense line.
The area is about 4 square kilometers.

2nd.
On the south side of Krasnohorivka,
according to the video with location information,
the Russians attacked from the southeast in a large convoy,
but the Ukrainians responded with artillery fire and were repulsed before coming to the railroad tracks.

What we are showing you is the Ukrainian side and the location shown on the map.

The battle map remains unchanged.

3rd.
In Pobieda,
there is information that a Russian turtle tank was abandoned,
and according to the video with location information,
Ukrainian troops repelled it with two suicide drones.

What we are showing you is from the Ukrainian side,
where the Russian soldiers are fleeing from the turtle tanks at the location indicated on the map.

The Ukrainian troops defeated the tank by destroying its outer shell with the first drone and then attacking the tank itself with the second drone.

Southern Zaporizhia Province
South,
province of Kherson.

In this sector,
the Russians made two attacks at Stalomaiorsk and Robotyne,
and eight attacks on Krinky,
all of which were repulsed by Ukrainian forces,
and there was heavy fighting at Stalomaiorsk,
but no information affecting the battle map.

Please feel free to leave your analysis of the war situation and your thoughts on the news in the comments section.
That's all for today.
Thank you for watching.
