咲く / Bloom

帰ってからすぐ寝てしまった。政治とは難しいものだと思う。彼女とのクーラー設定温度、これを決定するだけでも難しい。1人の感じる暑いや寒いが違う。寒い人を減らして行くべきだとは思うけれど、暑いという人の権利ももちろん尊重されなければならない。

置かれた場所で咲きなさい、とは全くとても良い言葉ではあるし、その通りの面もあるけれど、何だか「欲しがりません、勝つまでは」のような、上の人に都合の良い名言のようになってないか、などと思ったりもする。置かれた場所が悪ければ、血眼になって他の場所を探そう。人は木でない。誰か言って欲しい。

クーラーを付けず眠ってしまっていたので、買って来たご飯が若干の腐りというのか、良くない物を放っている。

I fell asleep as soon as I got home. I think politics is difficult. Even deciding the temperature setting of the air conditioner for me and my girlfriend is difficult. Each person's perception of hot or cold is different. I think we should try to reduce the number of people who feel cold, but of course the rights of those who feel hot should also be respected.

"Bloom where you are planted" is a very good saying, and there is some truth to it, but I also think it's a proverb that is convenient for those in power. If you're planted in a bad place, try your best to find another place. People are not trees. I want someone to say something like that.

Since I had fallen asleep without turning on the air conditioner, the rice I had bought had gone a little rotten, or at least was giving off some unpleasant smell.
