01-SF: Arrival -到着‐

■成田から出発■

 　成田からサンフランシスコに到着したのは2023年6月18日です。友人になったタティと一緒にサンフランシスコ国際空港に降り立ちました。タティはベトナム、タイ、日本と旅をしてきて、旅の帰路についたところでした。私は不安と一緒というよりも、日本での煩わしい事から解放される事と、初めてのアメリカの地に降り立てた事に対しての期待でいっぱいでした。

  When I arrived in SanFrancisco from Narita on 18th June 2023, accompanied by my friend Tathy. He was returning from a journey through Vietnam, Thai-land,and Japan. Rather than feeling anxious, I was filled with anticipation about being freed from the troubles back in Japan and setting foot in America for the first time. I was hopeful and excited about starting a new chapter in San Francisco.

■タティとの会話■

　私は2020年から始めた英会話に自信がなかったので、英語が通じるか心配でした。タティは私の良き話相手になってくれました。日本がとても好きで、将来は日本人の女性と結婚したいとタティは話をしていました。
　なぜ、世界で日本の女性が人気なのは、タティが言うには、「水商売の女性のおかげ！」とのこと。その言葉にとても私は意気消沈しました。「それは男の人を相手にする商売の女性のサービスだよ。」と私はため息と共にタティに笑って言いました。
　海外の男性がすべての日本の女性の性格をそのように見ているのか一抹の不安を抱えながら、まあ、海外でそういう体験を求める男性も世界どこにでもいるし、それもまた日本人の女性の魅力であるならば、良いのかと考えを改めました。

  When I  have started learning English in 2020, I was worried about being understood. Fortunately,  Tahty became a great  conversation partner. He expressed his  fondness for japan and he desire to marry a Japanese woman one day.
  When he attributed the popularity of Japanese women wo-rldwide to 'night-life entertainers,' I felt disheartened. I sigh-ed and told him with a laugh that it was just a serviceoriented business. While I harbored some concerns that men abroad might have a skewed perception of Japanese women, I realized that if men seek such experiences everywhere, and if that's consid-ered part of the charm of Japanese women, then perh-aps it's acceptable. I've come to recon-sider my views on the allure of Japanese women."

■タティの過去■

　タティは1980年代のトルコでの政治の変化の波の飲まれたそれまでのトルコの上流階級の人だったみたいです。ですが、トルコが親イスラーム政権に変わったため、アメリカに移住して努力して英語を身に着けた移民の一人でした。トルコはとても親日の国でもあります。それはタティの中でとても悲しい歴史なので、普段は冗談でそのような事を言いますが、アメリカに来た事は心の奥にしまっている辛い話でした。

 I guess him who was upper class in Turkey, swept up in the political up-heavals of the 1980s. However, with Turkey's shift  towards a proIsamic government,So He immigrated to the United States and made considerable efforts to learn English.
although, Turky is known for its friendly nations with Japan.  He usually jokes about such matters, but deep down, the move to America is a difficult story he keeps close to his heart. 

■未来の衝撃からの一文■

　❝We may define future shock as the distress, both physical and psychological, that arises from an overload of the human organism’s physical adaptive systems and its decision-making processes. Put more simply, future shock is the human response to overstimulation.❞
