Thank you for 2023

This year marked my return to Sydney after 3 transformative years in Japan during the pandemic. Those years became a journey of self-discipline and personal growth. Meeting my wife and returning to Sydney together resulted in an incredibly enriching year.

While the adjustment for my wife, unfamiliar with living abroad, might have been stressful, every day held the potential for excitement. Despite being unable to meet her dog, family, and friends in Japan and not understanding English, she approached each day with a smile and a positive attitude. The kindness of volleyball enthusiasts and colleagues at work played a significant role.

Deepest gratitude goes to everyone at SDB a group of truly wonderful individuals with the highest human qualities. SDB made this year the best, especially the joy and happiness found in playing futsal with them.

Futsal experiences extended to various teams, such as SSC the crew, a group of wonderful and kind companions. Thanks to my former teammate Shane, I had the pleasure of playing with Mosaic. Teriyaki.fc brought enjoyable futsal moments with truly great people. Each team added unique and fulfilling experiences to the journey
