ディンギーヨット合同練習会 The dinghy yacht practice session
2023年11月26日、大阪北港ディンギークラブが開く、ディンギーヨット合同練習会に参加しました。
今回は、会長さんとあいうえさんがたくさん写真を撮ってくださいました。この日は風が弱かったのでヨットの前の方に乗った方が良いはずでした。でも、写真によってはバウが上がり気味になっているものもありました。
また、レスキュー艇に呼ばれたと思って、意識がそちらに向いたとはいえ、メインシートが無意味に緩んでしまったシーンもありました。
セーリング中は自分の姿が見えないので、こうして写真を撮っていただくと、見えてくることがあります。
私は体力やアレルギーなどが理由で、人の半分も練習ができないときもあり、人の助けが必要なときもいっぱいあります。
でも、何度も休憩が必要なときが続いても練習会に来てもいいと言ってもらえて、練習ができた中で改めるべき点（上りの角度が悪かったり、メインシートが引き切れていなかったり）はちゃんと教えてもらえて、本当にいろいろ気を遣ってもらっています。
そのことで、文句言われたことも、馬鹿にされたこともありません。
でも、そのように接してもらえることは、当たり前のことではありません。もし私が嫌な人間だと思われたら、そういう風にはしてもらえないと思います。
どんな人にだって、怒りたくなることもときもあるはずなのに、気を遣って優しくしてくれる先輩方に、人の何倍も感謝しなくちゃいけないと思います。

On November 26, 2023, I participated in the dinghy yacht practice session held by the Osaka Hokko Dinghy Club. The coaches took lots of pictures and gave them to me.
The wind was weak that day, so it was better to ride near the front of the yacht. However, since I am sitting in a position that is not the best, the bow sometimes tends to rise. I understood it by looking at the photo. As the rescue boat approached, the moment I turned my attention to it, the main sheet loosened more than necessary.
I can't see how I ride while sailing. The photos I receive from coaches teach me many things.
I'm physically weak and sometimes I can't practice half as much as other people. There are many times when I need someone's help. However, I was told that I could come to the practice session even if I took many breaks during the training session. And I can tell you what I need to change. They are very considerate. I have never been complained about or made fun of.
Being treated kindly is a blessing and should not be taken for granted. If the coaches think I'm a bad person, I don't think they'll be nice to me.
I think coaches get frustrated sometimes. Still, I have to thank my coach more than anyone else for caring and being kind to me.
