Just a little tip for delivery newbies… or something like that, lol! 😆

When you start delivering, choose sunny days to get the hang of it ☀️. It’s better to wait until you’re more experienced before tackling rainy days or deliveries after dark 🌧️🌚. If possible, try to avoid the lunch rush from 11 AM to 1 PM. It’s super busy, and you might find some store clerks are a bit snappy because they’re so rushed 🕒😬. You don’t want to start off with any bad vibes!

Outside of peak hours, you’ll still get plenty of delivery requests, and it’s said that new drivers get requests more easily 🛵💨. Rainy days can be tough without some experience, not to mention wearing a raincoat is a must, which makes it harder to see and the roads more slippery! Beware of manhole covers and curbs as they increase the risk of slipping 😓. Also, keeping your smartphone dry and usable in a waterproof case is trickier than you might think!

Rain can drain your energy more than sunny days, and I feel like my thinking slows down a bit when I’m cold and wet. Just the other day, I almost got the apartment number wrong for a delivery 😅 (double-check those details!).

Mistakes are more likely when it’s raining and fewer riders are out, but you can earn extra through quests, like an additional 500 yen for every four deliveries, which is tempting but remember, poor visibility and slippery roads mean deliveries take longer 🌧️💸.

For new delivery riders, it might be wise to avoid rainy days until you’re more accustomed to the conditions 🌧️➡️🚫.
