My classmate invited me to go to Exhibition that features Banksy.

This exhibition is good for me. Because a lot of his works are introduced with fulfilling captions. We can understand the background why did he create it. He always incorporates criticism into his works.

For example, in case of “Colston T- shirt”(2021) , He designed a T-shirt inspired by Broken statue in Bristol. This statue is built for commemoration of Colston who is an English merchant. But Colston and his company oversaw the enslavement of 84,000 Africans for 12 years. In 2020, during the action of BLM, this statue was broken and thrown to the river.

His works like excises to think and imagine about what is a concept. And he always chose the best art style and venue and timing for the main topic.

Direction is also have this perspective. We often try to understand classical master pieces. In each case We have to think about what lenses to use in this time?
