英語日記　No.44

こんにちは。carinaです。数日前に書いた日記です。

This morning, I felt disheartened while reading articles about the U.S. using its veto power to reject Algeria's resolution at the U.N. Council meeting. The US believes that the resolution could disturb ongoing sensitive negotiations. However, it is evident that humanitarian assistance must promptly reach those in need across Gaza. Inaction by the U.N. Council could result in an increased number of Palestinians killed, which has already reached almost 30,000. I believe a humanitarian ceasefire needs urgent realization. Additionally, I've come across reports of negotiation talks between some countries and Hamas. It is imperative to promptly implement a ceasefire to safeguard civilians in Gaza and secure food for them. 

In the articles, I found that Japan supported Algeria's resolution, which provided some relief. Japan shoud not align with the U.S. veto.
