久々のフライトとトランジット

今回の海外旅行は実に13年ぶりだった。

以前は多忙で有給休暇が取れなかったり、子供たちの受験で忙しかったり、コロナ禍で旅行そのものが難しかったから。

だけど今は無職なので、時間だけはある状態。家族の都合さえ考慮すれば義理の実家へ里帰り旅行ができるのだ。チケットが取れれば。

今回私はマレーシア航空で成田発クアラルンプール経由でダッカに行き、帰りはダッカ発クアラルンプール経由で羽田に到着した。

それに先立って私は楽天プレミアムカードにアップグレードしていた。やっぱりプライオリティパスのプレステージ会員は魅力的だから。

プライオリティパスを利用するなら成田空港は第1ターミナルビルの航空会社の方が使い勝手は良いとはわかっていたけれども、乗り継ぎ後の繋がりから成田での使用は断念。

クアラルンプール空港

クアラルンプールに到着してから、ワクチン接種証明の確認とチェックインを済ませてSama Sama Hotelというラウンジに入った。

3時間まで利用可能で、カード会員とゲストの人数によって料金計算がされるとのこと。

食事や飲み物、果物、スイーツ、充電、トイレやシャワー、ゆったり座って大画面のスポーツ放送などを眺めたりウトウトしながら時間が過ごせる感じ。

自分の全世界対応プラグの使い方がわからなくて、近場に居たインド人風の青年らに教えてもらった。

少し離れた席には日本語がちらほら聞こえてきていた。

Long time flight and transit

The biryani was very delicious.
