Hae (伴跛) raised an army and attacked, stripping their clothes, seizing their belongings, and burning all the silk curtains. Mononobe no Muraji and his group, terrified, fled. They barely escaped with their lives and took refuge on the island of Momora (汶慕羅).

In the tenth year, in the summer of May, Baekje (百済) sent Mokura Fumako (前部木刕不麻甲背) to welcome Mononobe no Muraji and his group at Komon (己汶) and led them into the country. The ministers of Baekje each contributed clothes, cloth, iron axes, and other goods, in addition to local products, and offered them at the royal court. They warmly consoled the group, and the gifts were generous.
