What's your Creative Type？
Happy Reiwa era!
Here in Japan we have just experienced the transition from the Heisei era to the new Reiwa era, a very historical moment to live in I may say.
Over this transitional period, we had 10 days long Golden Week (GW) holidays as well. At the start of the GW, I noticed this interesting quiz circulating on my social media feed.
It was a personality quiz for creatives, how amusing! Finally, after seeing countless quizzes trying to match your personality to movie characters, Disney princesses, villians and the likes, someone has finally shine some light to (the often neglected) creatives. Yay!!
Adobe Create has recently partnered with London-based creative agency Anyways, writer Carolyn Gregoire and several other designers to develop this very designerly quiz. Check it out! ↓↓↓
The quiz helps you understand yourself better as a creative, where your creative strengths are and suggestions on how to improve, based on the personality of your creative type.
There are 8 personalities in total, and each type has adorable characters to represent them. I got The Dreamer! Which is rather true, haha (^^; )
The questions are pretty well presented; clean and simple, followed by a short video clip that relates to your choice of answer.
As a designer, when coming across good designs, I think it's always fun to be inquisitive, find out what goes on behind the scenes, and to learn from the design process. If you feel inspired by this effort and would like to know more, check out the online article by Carolyn Gregoire.
While I think the quiz is available only in English for now, it seems rather simple, so please give it a try if you'd like (even if you're not in the creative field, because I believe there's creativity inside each of us (･ω<)☆）
