WHOLE9 -ホールナイン-

ライブペイント、壁画制作を中心に活動するアートユニット。

2007年に結成し、具象モチーフを描くhitchと抽象モチーフを描くsimoで構成される。 ストリートアートをベースに、スピード感のあるライブ性の高い表現を得意とし、 2人で1枚の絵を描く。

現代アートの複雑なコンテクストを放棄し、観る人が直感的に楽しめる力強い絵を創作する。

大阪を拠点にしながら、adidas,Redbull,SEIKO等とのクライアントワークや、 CM・PVへの出演、動画作品の制作、イベントのオーガナイズと活動の幅を広げてきた。

近年は全国のイベント・グループ展に参加し、さらなる作品の向上に努める。

WHOLE9 is a Japanese artists unit, formed in Osaka Japan in 2007.

The members of WHOLE9 are “hitch”, working on a representational painting, and “simo”, working on an abstract painting. Their art style is based on a street art, good sense in high speed painting and groovy expression, creating a mural with these two. The Range of their activities are wide – In addition to the Live painting, mural, client works (adidas, RedBull, SEIKO etc.), performances in Commercial Messages and Music Videos etc., and making video movies and organizing art events.
