【SS】呼びかけられて

「もしもし。あなた」

呼びかけられて振り向いたら
宇宙人だった。

本物の宇宙人ですよ
と言わんばかりの宇宙人だった。

「はい。なんでしょう？」
「近くにトイレ、ありませんか？」

おれは地球人代表ということになるのだろうか。

「ええと、公衆便所なら、この先に公園があって････」
なんとか身振り手振りで説明を試みた。

「助かりました。ありがとうございます」

宇宙人は頭らしきものを信号灯のように回転させ　
喜びらしき感情の表現をしてくれた。

それから、そのまま空へ昇っていった。

空を見上げながら、おれは首をかしげる。

（おいおい、トイレはどうしたんだよ。
　使いたいのは、おまえじゃないのかよ）

目を凝らすと　
はるか上空に雲霞のごとく
無数の黒い点々が見えるのだった。

Called Back

"Hello. You."
