とかげ

ある不毛の大地に一匹のとかげがいる。

とかげの目の前にも一匹のとかげがいる。

すぐ後ろにもやはり一匹のとかげがいる。

このことはどのとかげについても言える。

とかげによるそのような列が実在する。

とかげの列は前方に果てしなく続く。

とかげの列は後方にも果てしなく続く。

どのとかげも身動きせずに並んでいる。

どのとかげも一瞬にしてある決意をする。

とかげは目の前のとかげの尻尾を噛む。

と同時に後ろのとかげに尻尾を噛まれる。

とかげの尻尾は途中でぷつんと切れる。

その尻尾が暴れるために列が乱れる。

暴れる尻尾をとかげは苦労して飲み込む。

尻尾は喉を通り胃袋を通り腸を通る。

さらに尻尾の断面を通って尻尾が生える。

再生した尻尾はぬらぬらと濡れている。

そのためにとかげの抑制がきかなくなる。

とかげは目の前のとかげの尻尾を狙う。

すると自然にとかげの列が再びできる。

不毛の大地に見事なとかげの列ができる。
