Day 341: lull of river

This is a lull of river, not of pond.
See the shadows casted on the surface of river. They are not flowing at all...

It must be controlled by waterworks department of the city, I suppose, because we're in the middle of the rainy season.

All of a sudden, this river could be filled with tremendous amount of water by heavy rain and storm.

By the way, this photo below is the one I took last year during the typhoon hitting day..., almost same angle as the front pic.

How different the lull and the rushing flow are...
