Day 86: mochi_puru

"Mochi" is sticky rice-cake. We Japanese all love this, making it sweet or salty.

Probably we love mochi because of not just taste but texture of stickiness. And we call this sticky texture, "mochi-mochi".

"Yeah, this Yukimi Daifuku is so mochi-mochi" is the typical way of using this expression.

"Puru" is not a name for any food, but expresses another texture of trembling, shivering or jiggling.

Soft jelly bean is one typical type of puru-puru sweets.

So, Japan is filled with a lot of mochi and puru foods, especially sweets.
