Unimedia INTERVIEW③ 〜Crowd Data Input Team〜

日本の良さと、モンゴルの良さ。
この2つの良さを融合した会社。
Nyamaa Enkhbayasgalanさんは、Unimedia Solutions LLC（(株)ユニメディアのモンゴル現地法人）をそう例えた。

アンケート、ドキュメント、名刺などと、画像から情報を抽出し、デジタル化するシステム。Unimediaでは、Crowdを通して一度に数人のユーザーに情報の入力を割り当てることで正確性を追求している。Nyamaa Enkhbayasgalanさんが話してくれたCrowd Data Input Teamは、ユーザーが実際に仕事を見つけ、情報を入力するまでの仲介のシステムを作成している。

「日本で働いた方がより多くの経験を積み、成長できる。」そう言いながらも、Nyamaa Enkhbayasgalanさんは日本の大学院の卒業後、モンゴルに帰国し、Unimediaに就職している。大学卒業後、そのまま日本で就職するモンゴル人が多い中、何故わざわざモンゴルへ帰国することを選択したのか。

「日本で就職したらすぐにはモンゴルへ戻れない。」日本で実績を残し続ける先輩の姿を見て思った。両親が年を取らないうちにモンゴルへ帰りたい、そして当時交際関係にいた今の妻を思う気持ちが彼をモンゴルへ連れ戻すきっかけとなったようだ。
「そもそも留学の目的は先端技術や知識を身につけて、帰国してきて活躍することでした。」
「せっかくなら、モンゴルで成長して、実績を残したい。」と、モンゴルで働くことに熱意を持っていた。

そして、何よりも、自由であるモンゴルの社風で、「日々成長しながら、自由に働いています。」と嬉しそうに話してくれた。
日本の「きっちり」したところを取り入れつつ、「自由」を大切にするUnimediaに満足している様子だった。

Nyamaa Enkhbayasgalan smiled. His eyes twinkled together with a slow rise in corners of his mouth; his whole face in a perfect smile. "It has good qualities of both Japanese and Mongolian culture," happily, he described the speciality of Unimedia Solutions LLC.

Only until a month ago, he worked in a Crowd Data Input Team, a team building systems to connect individual users with jobs requested by companies. (The jobs include transforming information to digital form by actually inputing data from sheets on paper.)
Currently in Nexi team, he feels happy to work in a different project, facing many new challenges all together.

Speaking fluent Japanese, Nyamaa Enkhbayasgalan had studied in a Japanese university. While many of his friends stayed in Japan to work, after graduation, he chose to go straight back to Mongolia. He admitted that environment in Japan allows more chance for experience and achieving new skills. However, "if I started working in Japan, it would've been harder for me to come back to Mongolia," he said. "The only purpose I went to Japan was to study. Not to work."

Behind his calm tone with a little bit of jokes, a strong will and desire for experiences existed in his every word.

With combination of strict Japanese rules and unrestricted Mongolian culture, Nyamaa Enkhbayasgalan explained how Unimedia held a perfect balance in freedom of employees. The interview ended with Nyamaa Enkhbayasgalan's gentle smile as he described Unimedia with a single word: free.
