Situation in Ukraine

It has been 876 days since Russia invaded Kyiv.

First of all,
general matters.

According to the General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces,
Russian losses were 1130 soldiers
7 tanks
12 armored fighting vehicles
54 guns
50 drones
99 other vehicles.

The entire front reported 112 ground battles in one day.

And the ratio of the number of losses of Ukrainian equipment to Russian losses,
which can be visually confirmed,
is 1 to 3.2 compared to the number of losses on the Ukrainian side.

A wide range of losses on the Russian side were confirmed,
including motorcycles,
infantry fighting vehicles,
artillery,
tanks,
civilian vans,
and military trucks,
suggesting an aggressive offensive.
On the contrary,
there is no particular trend on the Ukrainian side.

Now,
here is the war situation in each region.
We will focus on the areas where the war situation has changed.
The changes can be followed along with the date by using the full screen display on the big screen.

Northeast,
Harkiv area

This section reports on the situation in the Halkiu area,
where Russian troops crossed the border in May and launched a military invasion.

The Russians attacked seven times at Hlyboke and Vovtyansk.

Hlyboke area

According to the positional video,
Ukrainian troops found Russian trenches at the locations indicated on the map and eliminated them with drones.

The image you are seeing is from the 5th Brigade of the Ukrainian National Guard,
which is observing the trenches of six Russian soldiers from the air.

The battle map has been updated to show the south side of the building from the Ukrainian recaptured area to the disputed area.

Vovtyansk Area
In this sector,
the Russians attacked in Vovtyansk and Tyche,
but were repulsed by Ukrainian forces,
leaving the battle map unchanged.

Northeast: Luhansk Oblast
Eastern part,
toward ChasivYar

The following is a report on the situation in the area from Kupyansk to ChasivYar.

The Russians attacked 9 times in the direction of Kupyansk,
9 times on the Svatove-Kreminna line,
11 times around Sivelsk,
7 times around ChasivYar,
and 11 times in the direction of Toretsk.

Kupyansk direction
In Kislivka,
according to the video with location data,
Russian troops launched attacks along the railroad,
which were repulsed by Ukrainian troops.

What you are seeing is from a video of the Ukrainian army's battle report,
which may be difficult to see with the text,
but the location is shown on the map.

The attack was repulsed,
but since Russian soldiers can be seen in the background,
we have updated the battle map to show a 400 meter area occupied by Russian troops from the disputed area.

In the direction of ChasivYar
In Kalinivka,
the Russian 98th Airborne Division and 200th Motorized Rifle Brigade attacked and advanced.

According to the positional video,
the Ukrainian military has advanced at least to this location,
where they have been conducting a drone attack on a house across from the government building in the settlement of Kalinivka.

The video you are seeing is from the Ukrainian side,
where they are watching the Russian troops like Santa Claus at Christmas from the chimney of a building at the location shown on the map.

However,
there are various theories as to the extent of the advance,
and there is information about the settlement that the Russians occupied the entire area,
but it is not clear.

The factory north of Kalinivka has recently been a Ukrainian military position,
but it is also unclear if Ukrainian forces have secured this location. These will be reflected again on the battle map once they are confirmed.

The battle map has been updated to show that the Russians have occupied the township that the Ukrainians attacked.

Toretsk Area

The Russians are intensifying their offensive in the Toretsk area and around Avdiivka,
which will be explained later.

Conversely,
within the 1,500-kilometer front,
these are the only two axes of attack that the attacking Russian forces can specifically focus on,
and that is why their strength is declining.

Number one.
In the Artemove area,
where the fighting is close,
the positional video shows Ukrainian infantry advancing at the location indicated on the map,
confirming that this is the front line of the Ukrainian army.

The video you are seeing is of what appears to be the 425th Assault Battalion of the Ukrainian Army moving through a destroyed residential area at the location shown on the map.

There are no changes to the battle map at this time.

2nd.
In Niuyork,
Ukrainian troops are attacking east and west of the salient.

According to the positional video,
Ukrainian troops are advancing into the mapped border forest,
confirming that this location is under the control of Ukrainian forces.

Russian forces are counterattacking and trying to reduce the threat to the Niuyork salient.

The image you are seeing was taken by the Russians,
who are observing a Maxpro anti-mine vehicle approaching the area,
which is hidden in the perimeter forest shown on the map.

We have updated the battle map to show this location as retaken by Ukrainian forces from the disputed area.

3rd.
Based on unconfirmed information,
Ukrainian forces are reportedly attacking Russian positions on the outskirts of the area between Yurivka and Niuyork,
and this area has been updated on the battle map from Russian-occupied to disputed territory.

We will update this part of the map as more information becomes available.

Southeast Donetsk Oblast

The following is an update on the war situation in the areas of Avdiivka,
Marinka,
and Velikanovosilka.

The weather in Avdiivka,
which will affect the operation,
is sunny.
Minimum temperature 25 degrees Celsius,
maximum 37 degrees Celsius.
Today's weather is also forecasted to be hazy.

The forecast for all of Ukraine is for hot weather until the 18th,
after which the heat will ease a bit.

Avdiivka area

In this sector,
Russian troops made 24 attacks with air support in various directions,
advancing in some parts.

1st.
In the direction of Kalinove,
northeast of Novo Oleksandrivka,
the fighting is heavy.

The Russians attacked in columns,
but before they could advance to the front line,
they were hit by Ukrainian drone fire,
and Russian vehicles were repulsed one by one.

The image you are seeing is of the 100th Mechanized Brigade of the Ukrainian Army and the Russian vehicles advancing.

There is no change in the battle map,
but there is information that the Russians are still attacking.

2nd.
Although unconfirmed in Rozvatske,
several sources close to Russia claim that Russian troops have occupied the settlement of Rozvatske and advanced to the northern outskirts.

However,
there is no information to confirm this at this time,
and we will keep you updated as new information becomes available.

Third.
And in Novoselivka Persia,
where the battle is fierce,
Ukrainian forces continue to resist from the southwest of the town,
but there was no information today that could affect the battle map.

Marinka area
Verkhanovosyrka sector

The Russians attacked 23 times in the direction of Marinka and 6 times in the direction of Velkanovosylka.

In the direction from Sorodke to Vodzhane,
the Russians attempted to break through the front line on a large scale on three axes of attack,
which were repulsed with losses.

1st.
First,
according to the positional video,
the Russians attacked with a convoy of tanks,
MTLB armored fighting vehicles,
and infantry fighting vehicles at the point dated June 27,
which were repulsed by the Ukrainian army,
and the Russians could not even get to the front line.

2nd.
Russian forces also attacked to the south of the mapped area and,
according to the positional video,
a Ukrainian vehicle was damaged at the mapped location and a BMP infantry fighting vehicle was repulsed coming very close to the O0532 line.

The O0532 highway connects Vuhledar and Kostantinivka,
and the Russians are targeting this road. The situation is of some concern.

Southern Zaporizhia Province
Southern province of Kherson

There were no changes to the battle map,
although the Russians reported four ground battles in the Zaporizha sector and at least one along the Dnipro River near Kozachirahely.

Regarding the withdrawal from Krinky's bridgehead,
which we reported yesterday,
military expert Ivan Stupak told Ukrainian media,
“Russian troops destroyed Ukrainian military transport boats with drones,
and some days they destroyed six boats a day. The Russians studied the travel routes of all the boats and targeted them.

Krinky became synonymous with a place where you could go in there and live,
but not return,
and the Russians used heavy machinery and various weapons to destroy buildings and changed the operation to a tour of the surrounding islands,
as there was no longer any point in maintaining a base.

During the operation,
which lasted from October to the end of June last year,
a final total of 262 Ukrainian marines were killed in action and 788 were missing.
The Ukrainian forces lost 58 pieces of equipment destroyed,
but the enemy losses were far greater,
with 271 units of enemy equipment lost,
4.6 times more than ours.
