People Will be Tracked by Their Heartbeats, According to the World Economic Forum’s Latest Innovation

On Wednesday, Aug. 18, 2021, the World Economic Forum issued a video on its Twitter account with five future recommendations, one of which is a tracking system based on a person’s unique “heartbeat.”

Facemasks impact facial tracking, according to the video, and our heartbeat, like our face, is unique.

According to the video, NASA created a device that uses a laser to identify a person’s heartbeat.

The Pentagon created the prototype gadget to distinguish a unique “cardiac signature” even when it was 220 yards (200 meters) distant and traveling through clothing, according to a 2019 MIT Technology Review published.
