“ウタヨミビト”の3rdシングル『藤の花』は、「伊勢物語」をはじめ「万葉集」や「後撰和歌集」などで数多く詠まれた日本の初夏を美しく飾る“藤”の和歌をモチーフに、巧みに紡ぎ合わせ現代語訳した作品。
サウンドは郷愁感-サウダージ-溢れるポルトガル音楽“ファド”を象徴する“ポルトガルギター(ギターラ・ポルトゲッサ)”と、沖縄の三線を由来とする新たな楽器”四線”の音色をフュージョン。
ユーラシア大陸を遠く最東端・最西端に隔てた二つの響きを結び付け、情感豊かに繰り広げます。

Music arrangement of this song is based on Portuguese popular music "fado".
We play it by the Portugal guitar called "guitarra Portuguessa"and also use the Okinawan-Japanese new music instrument "yonshin" which is developed from traditional sanshin to crossover the far eastern music culture.
The lyrics sung in Japanese are improvised from the Japanese poetry called "tanka".
The motif of this song is wisteria which was written in the old collection of Japanese poetry "Manyoushu", "GosenWakashu" and classical literary work "Isemonogatari".
