“テンガーラノソラ”の8thシングル『ときわ木のみどり』は、常に青さを保ち旺盛な成長力から、不老長寿の縁起のよい“百木の長”として古くから扱われてきた“常緑樹=ときわ木”を詠んだ沖縄の琉歌を歌詞の題材に、インドネシアに伝わる民族音楽“クロンチョン”のリズムに乗せアレンジ。
ポルトガル発祥のインドネシアの小型弦楽器、二つのクロンチョン・ギター“チュッ(cuk)”“チャッ(cak)”とユニークなピチカート奏法で３弦チェロが刻む軽快なリズム、沖縄の三線由来の新たな楽器“四線”や横笛、ギター、ヴァイオリン、ヴィオラの響きが、新たな季節をエバーグリーンに美しく彩ります。

8th tune of TENGGARA no SORA "Tokiwagi no midori - evergreen -". Music arrangement of this song is based on Indonesian popular music "keroncong". We play it by 3 strings cello, violin, viola, pipe, guitar and Indonesian ukulele called cuk and cak. To crossover the Japanese-okinawan music culture, we also use the Okinawan-Japanese new music instrument yonshin which is developed from traditional sanshin. The lyrics sung in Japanese are improvised from the classic Okinawan poetry called "Ryuka". The motif of this song is evergreen which treat as good luck plants in Asia from having foliage that persist and remain green throughout the year.
